Meet Seven and Lake! After being surrendered to us, these brothers come as a bonded pair. These energetic brothers are extremely friendly, funny, and love attention. Seven loves giving kisses and telling secrets, and is always ready to make a new friend (human or cat alike). Lake is very nosey and wants to be involved in whatever his owner is doing. Both brothers are always ready to play and be around their forever families as much as possible. Seven and Lake are neutered and up to date with all major vaccinations, and would do best in a home with children or high energy levels! Meet Baby!
This adorable 1-year-old girl is ready to find her forever home!
Baby came to Simba’s Sanctuary as a surrender, and now she’s dreaming of a family to call her own. She gets along well with other cats, but she’d also love to be your one-and-only cuddle buddy (she has more than enough love to give!). Baby has the perfect mix of sass and sweetness—she’s vocal, loves to “chat,” and will happily share all her secrets with you.
Her favorite things? Lounging on the couch next to you, soaking up endless head scratches, chasing string toys, and sneaking in little kisses while you pet her. She’s charming, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend.
A Total Transformation!
Meet Mocha — a tough little soul with a heart that’s learning to trust again.
Mocha wasn’t the cat we set out to catch that day… but his hunger brought him right to us. He showed up matted, covered in ticks, and clearly carrying the weight of a rough past with humans.
With lots of patience (and a serious grooming session to remove all that painful, tangled fur), he started to feel more comfortable. But trust? That took time.
He kept his distance at first, and left a few of us with some battle scars — but everything changed when he discovered churu pops and chicken treats. Bit by bit, with one brave finger-scratch at a time, Mocha began to let his guard down.
Now? He’s exploring our TLC room, making feline friends, and even asking for chin scratches — his absolute favorite thing in the world.
We’re still helping him learn that toys are fun and brushes are your best friend when you’ve got fabulous hair like his!
Mocha’s journey isn’t over yet, but he’s come so far — and we can’t wait to see him find the loving forever home he truly deserves.

Meet Salem!
This gorgeous 5-year-old girl is ready to steal your heart.
Salem’s journey hasn’t been easy—she was found outside, then passed through another shelter before finally finding her way to Simba’s Sanctuary.
Here, she spent much of her time rocking her adorable surgery suit + cone while we worked to solve her skin condition. After lots of love and care, we finally found the right treatment and now she’s thriving!
Salem is the ultimate lap cat. She’ll follow you around the room until you sit—then it’s her moment to shine. As soon as you start giving her scratches, she kicks up her purr motor and melts right into you. Expect her to curl up on your lap, trap you with her cozy sleeping positions, and steal your heart every single day.
Spunky, sweet, and full of personality, Salem holds her own among even the sassiest cats. She loves soaking up sunshine and will quickly become your loyal little shadow.

Our Crazy Kitten!
Meet Basil!
This 8-week-old sweetheart is as fun-loving as he is adorable! Basil is your classic kitten — full of zoomies, curiosity, and endless joy.
He loves chasing his spring toys, zooming after them across the room, and carrying them proudly in his tiny mouth (he takes his toy collection very seriously). Basil also enjoys playing with his older kitty friends, watching and learning from them while practicing his wrestling moves.
But Basil isn’t just all about play — he’s also a super snuggle bug. After a big day of running, pouncing, and exploring, he’ll curl up into the sweetest little ball of fluff and drift into dreamland.

Meet Christina! Christina was named after the wonderful Chris Arsenault, who passed away protecting his rescue cats at Happy Cat Sanctuary. Though she may seem timid and reserved, once she warms up to you she is elated to accompany you wherever you may go. Christina loves to play with springs, but her ultimate pass-time is relaxing somewhere high where she can supervise the room.
Christina would do best in a patient house with no other animals where she can be the princess she wants to be! Christina is spayed, and up to date with all major vaccinations.

Meet Smokey! This spunky 4 year old gray heartthrob has the cutest white patch on his chest and a big personality to match. He’s handsome, hilarious, and full of sass!
Smokey was surrendered to our amazing friends at Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital, where he spent 3 years being loved and cared for by their incredible team. He’s been ready for a home of his own, and now that he’s joined us at the sanctuary, we’re helping him finally find it!
Let’s talk about his quirks—because no one’s perfect, and that’s what makes him special! Smokey is all about playtime-but his version includes a healthy dose of play biting. So, he’s not the best match for small kiddos. He needs a human who gets him, embraces the chaos, and finds joy in his spicy little antics.

Meet Jinx! If you’re looking for a cat with personality, charm, and just the right amount of mischief, Jinx is your guy! This handsome 2-year-old boy is full of curiosity – he loves keeping an eye on everything and always wants to be part of the action!

Meet Walter! This sweet 9 year old grey tabby has the most soulful eyes! Before joining the sanctuary, this sweet boy underwent a double eye surgery! While we can only imagine what he has went through, it’s clear he’s feeling so much better now and is truly thriving!
Walter is the definition of calm and kind. He adores soft pets, long cozy naps, stretching on his favorite chair, and always loves a good snack (or two!).
Walter’s gentle personality allows him to get along well with other cats and people, but would prefer a house where he can truly relax!

Meet Petal! Petal was surrendered to us when her owners were deployed to Japan for active duty! Petal is a 6-year-old girl who was born to be adored! She loves getting gentle head scratches and once she starts purring, there is no stopping her.
She is extremely laid back and loves to nap the day away, only waking up for snacks and all the love she can get.
Petal has a bit of anxiety so she is getting a daily medication, which she takes like a champ! Now that she is feeling better we are able to see her charming and soft personality show!

Meet Finn! This handsome 6-year-old tuxedo has had quite the journey but is ready to find his forever home! Finn was rescued by a good samaritan who found him living outside in Paterson NJ. Like many strays, Finn needed a little extra care. After spending some time with the wonderful team at Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital, Finn is back with the sanctuary and ready for his next chapter.

Absolute Angels
Meet Ghost and Sheldon, a pair of bonded senior male cats surrendered by a Good Samaritan. Sheldon, at 9 years old, and Ghost, 6, are inseparable and love spending their days cuddling together. Ghost, who has no teeth (which doesn’t affect his health), adores mice toys and is always up for a cuddle. Sheldon enjoys back scratches and is equally affectionate.
They would thrive best in a calm home where they can continue their cuddling adventures together. These sweet and calm boys would make a wonderful addition to any home!
